A Birthday Greeting!

Written October 07. 2007 in Birthday

It is the big day for someone special today. I just do not know how to describe this particular person at the point of writing this blog but, one thing is for sure, I owe him a birthday greeting :) Here it goes.

1. First and foremost, HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY to the birthday boy who was born today, 23 years ago!

2. I wish he will have a blast on this special day though there is still no cure for a common one...

3. May he achieves all he wishes in life and may it be in near future!

4. May he live as long as he wishes and loves as long as he lives!

5. May he be loved and may he loves as long as the clock ticks!

6. This birthday boy is definitely a blessed gift from God. Chelsea (2007a)

7. Lastly but not least, I just want this birthday boy to know that birthdays are good. The more he has, the longer he lives and the longer he will be loved! :)

HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY, my dear Inn Yeow!!! :)

SUBMISSION TOMORROW!!! :(

Written October 04. 2007 in PTA
He just have to make it this way :( The supposed due date for submission of FYP for Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4 is on the 10th of October, next Wednesday. Unfortunately for me, Dr. E wants us to submit it by tomorrow, Oct 5th. That is like... 5... FIVE days ahead of the rest of others!!! I paused for one moment when the news was brought to me. Part of me was like "WTF? So soon? And I thought I still had one more weekend for a final touch up?" But the other part of me was consoling myself by saying "It's okay. Just get it over and done as soon as it is *sMiLes*"

After a long thought, I still think the first reaction is more logical for some one like me. I have been depriving for sleep and I honestly think that 5 credit hours for the d*mn FYP is unfair cause it is taking up more than 5 hours weekly of my time!!!!

Mid Autumn Festival in Carpenter's Street, Kuching

Written September 24. 2007 in Festival
With the festival around the corner, like all the previous years, Carpenter Street in Kuching had their set up for the celebration. Along the street, you will see many stalls selling lanterns, the typical pasar malam goods and more commonly, food. It more or less reminds me of Petaling Street back in KL where the street would be closed up, the difference in Carpenter's Street is that; the event is only held once a year. And yes, about this time, when Mid Autumn Festival is just around the corner.

My friends and I decided to make a trip there to see if there is anything interesting. Indeed, there were lots of on-going events there.

PTA... PTA... PTA...

Written September 20. 2007 in PTA, Studies

I have been working and working on my FYP and economic integration is such a part in me lately.

Having the European Union as a guide, idealistically, Asian has the edge of learning from their set backs from the formation of the union. However, realistically, Asian Economic Integration appears to be more like a dream to me and it would not be possible in near future.

*LOL* Some say, what nerd have u become into? I say, this is what I call learning....

Assignments?

Written September 17. 2007 in Studies
I know it is bad to do this. And, it is not write to speak about people behind their backs but....

I REALLY HAD A TOUGH TIME UNDERSTANDING THEIR WORK!!!
IF COPY AND PASTE IS WHAT YOU CALL COMPILING ASSIGNMENTS
, I am speechless...
AND I REALLY WONDER IF THEY KNOW WHAT ARE THEY ACTUALLY DOING!!!

We were divided into groups for our assignments for this particular course this semester. It is one of the first assignments in 4 semesters since we did not have a choice in deciding on our own group members. I was tasked to compile and edit their work and.......... *speechless*

Still goes down to my favourite saying, you will never know what is good around you until you've missed them. I could be harsh to some of my usual group mates earlier but am honestly thankful to have them, actually.

Weekend was all about assignments, yet again. *LOL*
