A Decade Since Primary School?

Written June 25. 2007 in Friends, Outings, School
I met up with some primary school friends earlier. We were catching up with old times and people whom we knew since then. Not many of us made it , though. But I have to say the short meeting made my weekend =)

Names like Hazem and Nurul was one of those few which we did not missed. But we recalled many of them, too. I honestly do not think Ibrahim, Desmond and Jo-Lynn changed from 10 years ago but I am not too sure about Hanafi, though. *laughs*

Ibrahim, who is always the enthusiastic one, is actually planning for a gathering in the old school itself and whoever from UPSR batch 1997 are all invited. I am looking forward to that. Seeing Desmond who improved from reading the time leaves me with curiosity about the rest of the Seafieldians junior *LOL*

But still, I cannot accept the fact that I have actually left primary school for almost a decade now. Thanks to all the advancement of technologies which made it possible for us to get in touch after such a long time! Friendster is one of them =) Memories from primary school is just unbelievable!

Chelsea's Blind Date (Just Read, DO NOT Question!)

Written June 21. 2007 in Outings

Yes! I am as amazed as you are when I did such a thing myself. DO NOT ask me why but I just did it. I guess it is just the feeling of what a friend said earlier about growing up. Some how it did not bother me much when this particular friend mention his feelings about the relationship issue which he felt around his peers. After one year, it hit me. Yes! One year.

Seeing friends pairing up with their respective partners leaves me wondering about myself. Is it me or the opposite sex is really decreasing in population? *LOL* Well, I don't consider myself fussy about it but it is not easy to bump into someone who has the compatibility, I must say.

Oh well. The outing was fun, though. Anyhow, I agreed to go out without any expectation that anything will happen. (yesterday night after work, by the way) It was fun having a mate accompanying myself for a movie. That must be a consolation which I thought to myself *LOL*

Now.... The ultimate that you were expecting. My point of view on him. (let me just stress here, this is a very personal point of view, it may vary from different individuals)

Oh well. How should I begin? I had been longing for a long time to watch "Alone". But the premier was only today and all the shows available for last night was only the midnight slot *sighs* So we decided for the comical "Fantastic Four". Knowing me, whom dislikes crowded places, I decided on TGV of 1 Utama by myself without discussing with him first (although I know most people will choose GSC over TGV) which I felt bad about it.

OKAY! I know what are you expecting! Yes, he is a good company. Although I am not in any position to speak about how he looks *LOL* which I know this is what everyone is anticipating for *evil laugh* Comunication was not a problem as I see he was able to communicate in a pleasant language. We spoke mostly about work (how boring!) and studies.

Like said, I DID NOT expect anything from this outing and was purely happy to get to know another new friend.... Is it me? Or is it the opposite sex, now? *LOL*

p/s: Fantastic Four is rated better than Spidey 3 (for me, that is!)
